How did we teach O2 TV customers to use an important new feature?

Client’s requirements.

It was necessary to clearly inform O2 TV viewers how to use the new My Menu function. This is an intuitive service that helps the viewer choose and find programs and films precisely suited to their taste from the vast offer in mere moments. We had to deliver relatively complex information quickly and comprehensibly, with an emphasis on the resulting impression being that the application will take care of entertainment for the entire family by itself.

In order for the video to be fast-paced and interesting, we designed a solution in the form of motion graphics with 3D elements. The main advantages are seamlessness, accuracy and an attractive design. These benefits enabled instant appeal and highlighted the advantages. To increase the appeal even further, the entire environment is modelled in 3D.

Final result

The initial unsorted programming content ends with the onset of the My Menu application. Program previews are sorted into categories, which represent convenience and quick selection options. A total of 500 screens are clearly arranged within a few moments, and the viewer understands the message. Thanks to 3D, the menu has depth. Transitions without cuts are seamless and look natural when switching from the category to the program details and on to the final screen.
