Client’s requirements.

Our client’s persistent problem was the complicated achievement of an optimal price for premium TV advertising times. Despite the high demand, the price is under immense pressure. Repeated tenders and their prolongation push the prices below the cost limits and this pressure results in non-transparent competition and ineffectiveness in terms of optimizing profit.

We sought a way to resolve this and increase the transparency and efficiency of purchasing advertising time. We created a solution in the form of the Minex auction system, through which television advertising can be sold directly to agencies and end customers. We emphasized speed and safety. Hence, our own NAIS framework was the obvious choice for the platform.

The core of the system is an algorithm, which evaluates data on the supply and demand sides in real time. A swift reaction to price developments is enabled in the intuitive system by adjusting the price on the advertiser’s end or the supply volume on the advertising space provider’s end. Those bidders who offer the best conditions are then transparently selected. The platform thus effectively solves all the previous flaws and is appreciated both by the end users and the agencies.
